The Central New York Regional Peace Studies Consortium is one of the oldest ongoing peace studies organizations in the world, starting in 1985.
The Consortium began by the efforts of a handful of professors and activists in the Central New York area who sought a forum to network, promote, and initiate discussion and scholarship on issues surrounding peace, nonviolence, and social justice inside and outside the academy.
